Jarad elf edh dredge deck9/21/2023 I picked up a Jarad (cuz that is almost my name and a b/g elf that looked like it had cool effects) and a few other cheap cards and put this deck together.Īll in all I've spent less than $30 on this and am willing to spend more, but I want to play around with it more before I get too committed to this deck. I looked through my old cards and saw that I had a bunch more black cards (Almost always drafted black) so I thought a golgari deck would work well. Inventors) and liked the elf deck, thought it had a lot of good synergy. Also I haven't played magic in some time, and then mostly only draft, so a constructed format is a bit new to me. The Sideboard is what I took out from before, and the maybeboard is just cards that I've thought about to go in this deck.So this is my first time getting into EDH and I'm trying to build a cheap and fun deck to play with my friends. The main deck is the Main category combined with the Buying category. I'm looking to make this deck casual/tuned so I can play with my more experienced friends, have fun, and not always get creamed (although I am sure that would be fun too.) I am committed to this commander for now (as it is really close to my name and it will get a laugh from friends) and I am trying to stay on the cheaper side because this is my first deck and I don't know what I like yet, so please do not suggest crazy expensive cards. Or is there a card in the buying list that I should replace because some other card is about as cheap but better in my situation. I'd mostly just like comments on basic things like are my land ratios alright? Did I get my ramp, wrath, targeted removal, creature ratio etc etc stuff all good. So I am working on my first commander deck and got some great help here on how to turn my loosely cobbled together jank into somewhat of a deck.
